About Me

I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to foster growth, healing, and meaningful connection. My approach is centered on creating a safe, compassionate, and inclusive space where we can work together to explore your unique experiences. In this environment, my goal is to help you connect more deeply with yourself, integrating both your mind and body, so that you can build a stronger, more authentic version of yourself—one that resonates beyond the therapy room and into other parts of your life.

I work in a collaborative, client-centered way, always open to feedback and tailoring our work to what feels most supportive and empowering for you. My role is to walk alongside you, honoring your individuality and the complexities of your journey, whether that includes navigating trauma, loss, identity, or other challenges.

I have experience working with a diverse range of clients, including adults from all walks of life and those facing complexities like substance use, suicidality, and mental health diagnoses. I specialize in supporting adults who are BIPOC, LGBTQ+, survivors of trauma, those dealing with PTSD, and people facing non-death losses such as transitions, divorce, immigration, and identity crises.

In our work together, I often incorporate evidence-based practices such as Mindfulness, Somatic Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also believe in the importance of sitting with heavy and complex emotions, acknowledging them without judgment, and providing space to process them. Drawing from my background in Anthropology, I find meaning in the stories we carry, and I see therapy as a shared journey of understanding, growth, and connection.

To nurture both mind and body, I integrate creative activities, writing exercises, and somatic practices into our sessions. These tools can offer new ways of expressing yourself, connecting with your emotions, and finding meaning in your story. I’m here to support you as you explore, heal, and move toward the life you envision.
