I am the child of Nigerian immigrants and my background as a first-gen influences my practice immensely. My focus is examining how trauma impacts our bodies, minds, and spirits. I work to empower my patients to examine unhealed wounds and journey with me as we explore their origins and collaborate on intentional healing.

My passions incorporate the intersection of oppression and mental health. I have extensive experience working with various populations, including adolescent youth aging out of foster care, sexual assault survivors, and immigrants.

My approach incorporates therapeutic modalities such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Emotional -Focused Therapy, as well as aspects of Cognitive Processing Therapy. My specialities include: complex PTSD, relational trauma, sexual assault, infidelity, and race-based trauma.

What you can expect in collaborating with me:
-Mindfulness and Breathwork
- Laughter
- Accountability
- Autonomy and Support
- Inclusion of cultural norms and practices
- Practical tools for emotional regulation
